Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
